Configuring Violation Thresholds

Updated this week

You can adjust how sensitive ChannelGuard is when detecting violations.

Settings

Go to Settings and look for the violation threshold options:

  • MAP Tolerance (%) β€” Ignore price differences below this percentage. For example, setting 0.5% means a product with a MAP of $100.00 won't flag a violation unless the price drops below $99.50. This helps avoid false positives from rounding.

  • Minimum MAP Price ($) β€” Don't flag violations on products with a MAP price below this amount. Useful for filtering out low-value items where small price differences aren't worth tracking.

When to Adjust

  • Getting too many low-severity violations from rounding? Increase the MAP Tolerance to 1-2%.

  • Want to focus on high-value products only? Set a Minimum MAP Price.

  • Want maximum sensitivity? Set both to 0.
