How Do I Resolve a Violation?

Who can resolve violations?

The Resolve button is visible to Owners, Managers, and Sales Reps. Viewers can see violations and export them, but can't resolve them.

Manual Resolution

  1. Go to Violations in the sidebar

  2. Click the Resolve button on a violation

  3. Add an optional resolution note (e.g., "Contacted retailer, price corrected")

  4. The violation is marked as resolved with a timestamp

Auto-Resolution

If a retailer's price returns above MAP on the next scan, the violation is automatically resolved. No action needed — ChannelGuard handles it.

Filtering Violations

Use the filters at the top of the violations page:

  • Severity — Low, Medium, High, or Critical

  • Source — Amazon, Google Shopping, or Walmart

  • Status — Active (unresolved) or Resolved

  • Search — Find by product name or retailer name
