A MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) violation occurs when a retailer advertises your product below the MAP price you've set. ChannelGuard detects these automatically by comparing scraped prices against your MAP prices.
Severity Levels
Severity | Price Below MAP | Action |
Low | 0.5% – 5% | Monitor — may be rounding or temporary |
Medium | 5% – 10% | Investigate — likely intentional |
High | 10% – 15% | Act — significant policy breach |
Critical | Over 15% | Urgent — major brand damage risk |
Violations below your configured minimum threshold are not flagged. You can adjust thresholds in Settings.
