A verification email is sent automatically when you sign up. Click the link to verify — you'll be auto-signed-in. Until you verify, a yellow banner appears across the dashboard as a reminder.

If you change your email address later from Settings, a verification link is sent to the new address — your old address stays active until the new one is confirmed.

Only Scout includes a free trial. Upgrading or downgrading later uses the Stripe customer portal — no need to re-enter payment info.
